Community makes everything easier
When we move and breathe together, the nervous system gets the message that we are safe, seen, and supported. Stress softens. Belonging grows. This is why we created Free Flow Saturday, a gentle one hour practice that welcomes every body and every experience level!
When and where
Join us on Saturday, August 30 at 9:00 am(and every last Saturday of every month at the same time!) at Empower Yoga Hartwell. This class is free! There is no sales pitch, and no pressure to join. Simply come as you are and give yourself the gift of an hour of care.
You can sign up here so we know how many to expect:
Why Community Matters
Your body is wise. When you share space with kind people and steady breath, your system releases tension and shifts toward calm. Gentle movement plus community connection supports regulation and makes it easier to show up for yourself again.
You do not need to be flexible.
You do not need special gear.
You do not need to know any poses.
You only need a willingness to care for your body and a little curiosity about what is possible when you do not have to do it alone.
About the practice
Free Flow Saturday is a simple, unhurried sequence that meets you where you are. Expect slow stretches, options for every body, and time to rest. You are always in charge of your pace and your range of motion. You can skip any shape. You can stay seated or lie down as needed. Our space is warm, inclusive, and trauma aware, which means consent, choice, and compassion guides everything we do.
This class is usually taught by our beloved Amanda. But this week I will be leading you! (Hi, it is Kimbrena, and I am excited to hold this hour with you!)
Who is welcome?
Everyone! New to yoga and curious? Seasoned and looking for a soft reset? Parents who need an hour to breathe? Teachers, nurses, helpers, and first responders who carry so much? Students easing into a new season? Grandparents who want gentle movement? Friends who want to try something together? Neighbors who want to feel part of something good?
All of the above! If you can sit, stand, or lie down, there is a way to practice that will fit your body.
Chairs, blocks, and plenty of options are available. Bring a mat if you have one, or borrow one at the studio.
What you will find?
You will find a kind room where nobody expects perfection. You will find cues that are clear, and choices that honor your energy. You will find a community that believes care should be accessible. You will find that one hour can feel like a deep exhale for the mind and a gentle yes for the body.
You will also find that it costs nothing. No strings. Just shared breath and steady support.
How to join and how to share:
Please take a moment to reserve your spot so we can set up the room with care:
Bring your friends. Invite family, coworkers, and neighbors. Share this post with anyone who could use a place to land. Community grows when we extend the invitation, and someone in your circle might be waiting for a nudge that feels safe and friendly.
Our promise to you:
We are here to give back to the community that has given us so much. This class is our way of saying thank you and of opening the door a little wider. You will not be sold to or pressured. You will be welcomed by name. You will be offered options that respect your body and your history. You will be invited to listen inward and move in a way that feels honest for you. If you need to rest, you will be encouraged to rest. If you need to step out, you can step out. Your pace is the right pace.
Don’t forget…
Everyone deserves an hour of self care. You are worthy of calm, connection, and support. If you have been waiting for the perfect moment, let this be it. Set your alarm, fill your water bottle, and meet us on Saturday morning. I will be there with a smile and a simple sequence to help you land.

We cannot wait to welcome you in.
See you on the mat!
