What is the sciatica? Why does sciatica pain present so differently for each person, and how can we tell what’s causing it? What can we do to help? Why is the psoas so important for our sciatica and spinal health? Learn how to strengthen and lengthen important muscles and potentially relieve pain. There are several known causes of sciatica pain. In this Yoga Therapy Workshop, we will be exploring how to determine if sciatica could be being caused by issues with our psoas muscle or even piriformis and learn how to stretch and strengthen those important muscles to help support our spinal health and relieve pain. We will explore what the sciatica is and does, as well as the function of our psoas muscle when interacting with our sciatica. Learn what stretches and movements can help improve our sciatica issues, spinal health, and back body support. Leave with a printout of the information we cover in class for future reference.
