A time to reconnect with your heart and soul in beautiful northeast Georgia! The Hart and Soul Yoga Retreat is being hosted at the Beacon Bed and Breakfast in Hartwell, Georgia. The Beacon is a rare combination of farm and lake life, offering guests a contemporary farmhouse, rolling pastures which are home to donkeys, goats, and chickens as well as waterfront access to beautiful Lake Hartwell. There will be plenty of time throughout the weekend to wander the property and enjoy the animals or the lake. We will be offering 9 different yoga classes to choose from including one paddleboard yoga class and
one paddleboard tour option (paddleboard classes are limited to 8 people, so please register early).

We have a full schedule planned for the weekend, but please note - everything on the schedule is optional. You may choose to participate in as much or as little as your heart desires. This weekend is about you reconnecting with yourself. This looks different for each person. For some, reconnection may happen by participating in every yoga class offered; for others, reconnection may require floating on your back in the lake for the entire weekend. Do what nourishes your soul. This is your retreat!

 

How to get registered:

We offer two types of passes for this yoga retreat: full event passes that also include lodging, and day passes for those who can’t spend the night or can only participate in part of the weekend. Go to the ‘Book Now’ icon.

  1. If you plan to stay on site, look at the 5 room choices and select the room that best accommodates you and your friends

  2. If choosing a day pass, select the pass that works best with your schedule (Friday night only,Saturday only, or Full weekend pass without lodging)

What to bring...

We’ll be spending a lot of time outside this weekend. Please bring:

  •  Hat

  •  Sunglasses

  •  Sunscreen

  •  Beach towel

  •  Cool clothes

  •  Yoga mat

  •  Preferred yoga props

  •  Wine or any adult beverage you may wish to enjoy beyond happy hour (each room has a refrigerator)

  •  Lake shoes/flip flops

  •  Swimsuit

  •  Walking shoes

  •  Light jacket

  • Rain gear

Yoga teacher trainer, yoga teacher, Personal trainer & group fitness leader. Dawn has been in the fitness industry since 1990. She has a passion for teaching energetic flow,
slow flow and FUSION (functional strength training meets yoga)
Dawn has a deep love for the practice and sharing it with you through music mixes and moving meditation.
She will meet you where you are and take you where you need to go.

Gigi Macher

Gigi shares an incredible zest for life -  both on and off the mat. Her passion is helping people attain their goals, whatever that may look like for each individual. She'll make you giggle about serious topics and challenge you to think more deeply about silly topics. She truly believes life is one giant oxymoron, and our goal is to discover the simplistic complexity in it all!

Gigi is an RYT 200 and a Certified Health Coach. Her favorite class to teach is a deep slow flow, where muscles get worked and released at the same time. Gigi owned her own yoga studio in Hartwell Georgia until 2021 and now teaches at Empower Yoga. If you like early mornings, come check out one of her 6:30am classes!

The Coop is a private suite located a few steps away from the main house. Enjoy your own private domain in this space which includes a King bed on the mail level and a twin and trundle bed in the loft. This space includes a private porch, private bath, mini-fridge and coffee maker.
